Aroma is sour with earthy and some floral notes. Also hints of citrus. Flavour is rather strong on bretta-style sour aromas. Also some floral and spicy notes. The wine can be observed here, but it is more close to a white than red wine. Closer to a Sour or Wild Ale than Saison. Good.

Pours dark orange with a large sticky and foamy white head. Tart, fruity aroma with notes of spices, malts and earthy notes. Taste is fruity with some tart notes and hints of spices and malts. Finish is slightly tart and bitter. Not your typical saison, but still quite tasty one.

Refrigerated bottle compliments of JoePeesie, poured into a shaker. Pours clear light golden with big fuffly white head. Pretty good head, medium body, medium carbonation, and grapefruit aroma. Taste is grapefruit, coriander, pepper, some oak, some funk, some orange, and finishes dry bitter hop. Pretty good, but not a favorite.

750 ml. Hazy, golden body. Frothy, pillowy white head. Looks like a heffe. Aroma of clove, brett, toasted grain, lacquer. Hints of lemon, earthiness, barnyard funk. The flavor is moderately sweet. lightly bitter and lightly tart. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter and lightly to moderately tart. Medium body, watery texture turning velvety and lively carbonation. What could be an overly sweet American tripel is tamed by tartness, funky brett characteristics and bitterness. An interesting take on a tripel. Nicely done.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice Brett with berry notes, musty notes, nice. In mouth, a nice perfumey malt with light rosewater, nice crisp hops, lingering bitterness and Italian spices, cloves, very nice. Bottle shared by the Hill Farmstead crew (thanks Shaun et al!), March 12 2012.

Bottle. Pale straw beerw ith a whitish head. Grapefruit and light tropical fruit aroma with brett. Tart and earthy flavor with pine, woodsiness, and brett. Medium bodied. Tart and earthiness lingers with woodsiness, pine, malt, and oak.

Pale golden with a disappearing white head. Aroma of brett funk and white wine, with notable orange peel and a touch of banana. Sweet fruity flavour with a refreshing tartness kicking in. Coriander is noticed in the finish

The coriander and peppercorns made this one unique, as I kept saying it reminded me of curry or garam masala. Pale cloudy yellow color. Outside of the spice there was also a grapefruit peel flavor to go with semi-dry crackery malts.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity yeasty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter finish with weak yeasty hints.

Aroma: It has a pretty interesting nose of wheat, brett, lemon, citrus, and wood
Appearance: The pour is a cloudy, unclear golden-white, and a bright white head and good lacing
Flavor: Tastes mid sweet, a fairly heavy brett component, a good amount of citrus, and a little wood
Palate: The body is fairly light, slightly smooth, a bit of a tingly feel, and a fairly heavy bretty feel
Overall Impression: This was another great one from Anchorage. I've really enjoyed everything I've tried from them. This was another good one. It had a nice feel, and the brett worked really well with the rest of the beer's components.
