Bottle. Pours orange, hazy, with a white head. Apricot candy, light brett and citrus hops in the aroma. Orange, white wine and tropical fruit notes in the taste. A bit dry, but mostly fresh. Complex, yet refreshing. Like a modern Orval!

Location: 750 ml bottle from Buy Rite, 12/28/11

Aroma: The nose has some floral notes, citrus, herbs, spice, brett yeast, oak, and some red wine
Appearance: It pours a hazy, unfiltered-looking orange color with a frothy white head, and mid-lace
Flavor: The taste has a nice floral sweetness, some bretty sourness, and just a little hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a nice grainy, yeasty mouthfeel, and an average-to-lively carbonation
Overall Impression: This is another great brew from Anchorage. It has a wonderful complexity to it. This is a really interesting offering, and you can really feel all of the different components that went into this one. I've found through the first two of their beers that I have tried that Anchorage does a great job of combining a lot components without all of the flavors becoming muddled, and that is a great skill, that makes for an amazing beer.
