Established in 1999
In 2015 Achilles became part of Caupona bvba (of the Prik & Tik stores in Heist-op-den-Berg and Herselt). The brewery is now called ''Brouwerij Serafijn.'' That is the new company in Heist that houses the Serafijn beers. The former microbrewery in Itegem has been dismantled.
The beer is now brewed at the Pirlot brewery in Zandhoven.

Bottle at home. Aroma of malt, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, dried fruits, yeast, spices and herbs. Flavour is sweet. Body is medium. Good beer with a tasty aroma, but a bit heavy on the sugary sweetness.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Dark brown with some fruits taste and spices too. Pretty good warmer from this micro for the winter times.

Tap at ZBF 2009. An beer named after a local hobo, an hazy golden coloured Tripel-style ale with an fine spicy taste and a well bitter finish.

Sample at Palace Hall, Malmö December tasting (14/12/2024) - medium sweet fruity and malty, some notes of straw, light citrus notes, grassy herbal edge, yeasty linger, medium body, spiced sweet warming malty close.

Bottle, 11%. Distinct malt syrup aroma, caramellly and spicy. Cloudy copper colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is sweet, malty, caramelly with a spicy sugar note and a distinct bitterness. Does not taste that strong, but has some alcohol bitterness in the finish.

Clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of herbal and spicy pale malt, yeast. Taste of herbal pale malt, belgian yeast, yellow fruits, high carbonation.
