Description

Bottle from a Durbuy shop - thanks, Anke! Hazy amber, stable, frothy, tan head. Aroma of honey, plum, brioche, pear, vague butter. Taste has sweetish plum, pear & apple in a honey-malty body with bready & buttery touches. Herbal hoppy finish, grassy, lingering honey and some liqueur-like alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Drinkable but probably well past its prime.

Clear pale brown colour with thin head. Aroma is packed with honey. Quite a strong, herbal honey too. Despite all the honey the flavour is not extremely sweet. There's a herbal element (rosemary?) and a light dryness in the finish.

250ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Durable white head to a bright warm golden body, rings of lace down the glass. Moderate smell of dried fruits and bread-like malts. Mixed taste pf oily hops, dried fruits and some traces of Belgian yeast strain. Dried fruity endnotes. Quite alright. (Tromsø 20.07.2021).
