Bottle: Poured a cloudy medium brown color ale with a average size head with OK retention and no lacing. Aroma of dry hops with light caramel malt notes. Taste is also a mix between some light caramel malt with a dry hoppy ending. Medium full body with good carbonation. Not the best mix of hops for an IPA but still very good and probably one of the best from this brewery.

Bouteille 341ml.

A hazy reddish amber ale with a thick creamy off white head, quickly collapsing. Aroma is very present, spiced, esters, and mashed beans. In mouth, light signs of infection in this lightly sweet malt, light hopping, and sustained astringent notes. Bottle bought by GRM on August 9 2007. Taste Feb 23 2008.

A hazy rosey blonde ale with a thin creamy white head. Aroma of rose, sugar and pea soup. In mouth, amateurish beer, with lots of residual sugars, green pepper, herbal bitterness, a bit astringent in final. An APA??? Somethings gone wrong here. Bottle purchased by GRM at Le Grand Duc on August 9 2007.

Bottle under the ‘’Lysée Noire’’ label: Poured a clear black porter with a small foamy head with average retention. Aroma of weak coffee with some notes of DMS. Taste is also comprised of weak coffee with some light roasted notes and some DMS. Body is really thin with medium carbonation. I didn’t find nothing remotely interesting and here and definitely not something I am likely to buy again.

A hazy dark amber with a thin light moka head. Very low carbonation upon opening, but nice head formation. Nice resinous hops and burned caramel in aroma, very restrained. In mouth, a good hoppy beer, with resinous hops, lingering in mouth, not too overbearing or over the top, and some caramel malt as backbone. Medium bodied. Bought at Joanette. 2.69$. A good I2PA from Quebec.

Bottle: Poured a murky amber color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention. Aroma of unrefined grain is not very tempting. Taste is also dominated by this unrefined grain taste with a dry finish. Full body with minimal carbonation. Wow, this is quite bad and definitely not something that I would drink very often and even less for a session.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden bright yellow color ale with a small foamy head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma of sugar with some malt coming through. Taste is a mix between some cloying sweetness with some light malt. Watery body with some low carbonation. Overall, this was way too sweet or cloying to be really interesting.

Bottle: Poured a clear deep brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt with some dry hops. Taste is a mix between some light caramel malt with a light dry hoppy finish. Body is definitely too light with some medium to low carbonation. Not too bad overall but maybe a tad too dry.
