As 'Dirty Scum'.
A: hazy orange, stable, foamy, off-white head.
A: dried banana, brioche, honey, yeast, orange peel.
T: sweet banana, red apple, brioche, yeast.
F: floral hops, ripe fruit, dry yeast, warming vodka-like alcohol.
P: medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.
Recognisable Deca, and thus Struise-like profile. The typical Belgian brew that I can appreciate.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a deep mahogany colour with a thin soapy looking beige head. Aromas of dry dark fruits, stewed fruit, caramel, brown bread and alcohol. Taste has more of the dark fruit notes, plums, more caramel, toasty brown bread and some brown sugar creating some combined toasty and sweet notes on a very well balanced dry finish. A touch woody perhaps but i’m not detecting too much barrel aging. Medium body, low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Very decent beer.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a dark mahogany colour with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Aromas of dry dark fruits, plums, caramel, brown bread with hints of gingerbread. Taste is slightly acidic with more of the dark fruity notes, caramel and brown bread with added hints of apples. Beautifully soft but sprightly carbonation creating a very nice mouthfeel with a sticky tangy finish. Quite unique and overall a lovely beer.

Bottle, 10%. Roasted and fruity aroma. Black colour, seems cloudy. Unstable light brown head. The flavour is sweetish, roasted, fruity and spicy. Sweet with good raw liquorice notes. Fizzy bubbles, but good mouthfeel.
