Lots of hazy goodness for such a low ABV.

O:6.7 V:2.55 G:4.45 C:3.25 G:11.5 T:28.45

Clean, golden colour with a creamy-frothy warm-white cap, good retention and nice, thick foamy lacing. Hoppy aromas with lemon zest, mild tropical notes, lychee, apples, pears and white grapes. The mouthfeel is on the thin side with big, building dryness, that lingers. Some good fruitiness in the taste as well with citrus zest and more. An interesting dry, fruity, hoppy blonde ale.

O:6.77 V:4.05 G:5.95 C:3.67 G:12.15 T: 32.59

Hazy, copper colour with some amber hue before it hazes up. The head is frothy, warm-beige coloured with some good retention and mild lacing. The Brett is felt in the nose with a touch of vinegar, wild yeast, but it calms a bit down when the haze appears. Some malt base and hints of Bourbon, dark fruits. These three last one show up a little more in the flavours. Some coffee, chocolate, wood notes with decent dryness. Was expecting big richness for a Quad, and thick... but no, on the thin mouthfeel side. A little warming happens with time, and is embraced. Goes down nicely and not bad overall, but was not expecting the Brett, but more of a Quadrupel with a Bourbon touch only.

473mL can. Pours clear blonde with small white head. Aroma has crisp malts and very gentle but present gin barrel. Flavour has dry grass, straw, cracker malts, slightly bitter juniper berries, and some dry barrel. The gin barrel has been remarkably well-incorporated into the underlying pilsner. Though the quality of the base beer is a bit less certain.
