Cask, gravity at Merton Summer Beer and Cider Festival, 18-07-09 Pours dark brown in colour with light beige head. Some nicely burnt touches too this, some woodiness, touch of liqourice, not bad at all. A6 A3 F7 P3 Ov13 3.2

Cask at Ealing beer fest 2009. Golden pour with light head on top. A nice hoppy aroma. Hoppy, citrus, slightly bitter taste. Not bad but this ain’t no US style beer IMO.

Cask @ The Angel, Manchester M4. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small creamy head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and honey aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with hints of honey. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Cask @ The New Oxford, Salford, Manchester M3. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty slightly roasted caramel aroma. Roasted malty caramel and toffee flavor with some hints of chocoalte. Has a roasted malty caramel and toffee finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Waterhouse (JDW), Manchester 11/06/09. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Citrus hop aroma. Relatively easy drinking, with more citrus offset by some sweet creamy malt. Finish was decently dry. Good stuff.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol (JDW) 19/04/09. Deep gold with a frothy white head. Decent hoppy, aroma with plenty of citrus and orange blossoms and a touch of caramel. Flavour started sweet, with some marmalade, more citrus hops and a very long, dry finish. Very enjoyable.

Cask (handpump) @ Marble Arch Inn, 73 Rochdale Rd, Manchester, Greater Manchester England M4 4HY.Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly - fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
