Description

(Draught at Nüetnigenough, Brussels, 20 Oct 2023) Pale golden colour with lasting, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, cereal, grass and peaches. Malty taste with bread, cereal, grass, hay, soft fruit and a gentle grassy bitterness. Light body, dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb 24. Brought by me. Misty golden yellow appearance, white head, some floaters in the glass. Good saison overall, pleasant sweetness, soft yeast but the buckwheat influence is hard to detect.

19th February 2024; Shrewsbury Gathering, five blokes and loads of beer to share. Cheers Mat for the 33cl can of this. Cloudy orange, white crown, heavy sediment within, soon found it's way to the bottom of each glass though. Floral and yeasty nose, spicy taste with a semi-sweetness.

Big fat pint at Moeder Fontainas. Last bev of Rich’s 50th birthday knees up. Cheers Rich, Cloin, Dave, Fergus, Sarky, Shane and Eli. Was a good weekend of tons of ale, not enough food and a fucking big fistful of Rennies. Decent pils. Pretty crisp. Nice one.

Taste comprises berry pips, modest funk, hedgerow, pink berry sherbets, damp straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced puckering kiss. Tidy refresher.
