Cask at the brew pub London. Dark brown black oily pour with a fleeting thin light tan head. Nose is burnt toast with pine and some citrus. Flavour is wood, toast and roast. Assertive bitter pine finish, added to by some rough roast. Slight flabby palate with mid-low carbonation. Rough round the edges,but decent enough.

Cask at the brewpub - London. Pours clear brown-black with a bubbly tan head. The nose is all burnt pine, wood, dirt. Light sweet flavor with oily burnt pine, earth, grass. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Aggressively hoppy to finish, lightly astringent, with further pine oils, dirt and grass. Lots of whole leaf raw hoppiness in here - a bit too much for me.

Cask at the brewpub - London. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds pale bread and orange rind. Light to medium sweet flavor with piney hops, further citrus rind, a bit of tangy melon. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly oily and resinous to finish with tangy citrus, pine needles and lingering rindy bitterness. Fine.

Clear deep amber beer with a tidy pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate with light fine carbonation. Smooth malt, mild dry cream. Nice nutty tone. Light yeast character and dried fruits before a dry finish that has a touch of spice. Standard stuff but done well.

Bottled 330ml ABM. Deep black color, tiny brown head. Strong aroma of licorice, black malts and coffee. Full-bodied. Roasted, a bit sweetish licorice flavor, some bitterness and light notes of alcohol. Rounded and very pleasant brew.

Cask at Brew Wharf, 09/11/13. Very lightly hazed golden amber with a good sized off white head. Nose carries bitter hop notes, toasted malts, bitter orange, citric waft, light booze - an unusually boozey waft for a 6% offering! Taste comprises light grapefruit, orange pith, tarte mango flesh, straw, bitter citrics. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy finale with semi aggressive hop bitterness and a cutting mineral bite. Solid cask IPA.

Cask at Brew Wharf, 09/11/13. Clear golden with a moderate off white head formed of bubbleage that retains well. Nose is hops, dank pine light, bitter citrics, light grapefruit, mango, tropicals, grass. Taste comprises earthy hops, tangy citrus, orange pith, mineral bite, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Great sessionable cask APA !

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is grapefruity, peachy and citrusy. Solid hoppy, floral and solid bitter. Lingering fruity and floral.

Cask at Brew Wharf, London Bridge, London. A dark golden/straw coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes really hoppy, malty, tropical fruit and slightly sweet with some bitterness too. Decent IPA.
