Draft. An unclear golden beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of pepper, lemons, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, yeast, pepper, alcohol, lemongrass, and a bit of malt, leading to a dry spicy finish. The body is watery.

From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Rather fruity and light peppery aroma. Yeasty, peppery, fruity and light wheaty flavoured. Mild acidic note. Bubblegum, bitter and rather dry finish. Lasting dry yeasty and bitter into the far finish.

A hazed golden ale with a thin hite head. In aroma, sweet mat with orange peels, candy sugar, a bit of tropical fruits. In mouth, a sweet candy sugar with bananas, bubble gum, coriander and curacao, warming alcohol, not bad. On tap at Festibiere de Gatineau, May 28 2011.

Originally rated September 2006. Bought at the Dépanneur À-Tout-Prix in Laval, Quebec. Pours a dark copper-amber colour with a big off-white creamy head. Retention is great and patchy lacing is left. Average carbonation made of tiny bubbles. Oh wow ! Amazing aroma, with some spices like pepper and coriander, fruits like oranges and apples, and some Belgian yeast. Slightly creamy mouthfeel and slightly watery which makes this brew quite refreshing. The taste has everything found in the nose. Good spices and fruits mixed well together. I really enjoyed this brew, as it is well-balanced between a session brew and Belgian ale. Highly recommended.

Originally rated October 2006. Sampled at the pub itself. Poured a dark brown colour with red highlights. The lacing was good and all around. Medium retention had the big head. Scent of mild roasted and chocolat malts. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel. The taste was also mild with roasted malt, light chocolat and coffee in the aftertaste. This was a nice refreshing brown ale for stout lovers (felt like a watered down stout).

Originally rated October 2006. Sampled at the pub itself. Poured a clean gold colour with a head that left nice lacing and a ring that stayed a while. Unfortunately, the carbonation did not stay, and the beer become flat. Nice perfume nose with grain and some saaz hop. Good start with the grain and hop, with a clean cereal finish and a flowery aftertaste. Very refreshing, great tasting for a house pils-lager and easy to drink.

Bouteille 500ml.
