Description
Our 20 barrel brew plant is set in a beautiful 300-year-old barn which is capable of producing up to 100 brewers barrels (28,800 pints) of beer each week.

[Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence.] A pale straw colour with a thin white head; sweet floral aroma; sweet floral taste with a light grainy body and some crisp apple; then a fruity, biscuity finish. Fresh and light.

29th Jan 2019; cask, third of a pint in The Red Lion and Pineapple, Acton. Golden/amber body, off-white head. Malty front to the aroma and taste with semi-sweet malty molasses to the fore flavour wise in the initial sips, the hops kick in a little later and calm the malts down somewhat; liked it.

9/11/2018. Cask at the 24th Watford Beer Festival. Pours clear very pale gold with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, butter, malt, fruit, hops and biscuit. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with a hint of sour. Medium body, oily/creamy texture, average to soft carbonation. Fruity, metallic finish.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. A bright amber pour with a ring of white head; grassy aroma; grainy body, sweet and with a touch of orange; then a dry finish with herbal notes. Rather good.

Cask (Alehouse, Reading) - June 2018. Dark brown with orangey red tinges. Chocolate, raisins and some slightly roasted notes in the aroma. Chocolate, chestnuts and hints of berries in the taste.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Maidenhead Beer Festival 27/7/2018. Golden in colour with a slight, white, head. Sweet and yeast malts, a touch of caramel, plenty of bittering hops in the finish. Fine.

On cask at The Hope Taop (JDW), Reading. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma: doughy malts, honey, toffee, floral. Taste: light sweet & moderate bitter, orange, citrus zest, grassy hints. Medium bodied, soft carb, light sweet finish. Another dull goldeen ale, there are so many....

Cask at The Lamb Inn, Little Milton, Oxfordshire. A golden coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, fruity, malty aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, malty, fruity, slight sweetness. Served in good condition, quite pleasant.
