Burton Bridge Brewery
Brewpub
in Burton upon Trent,
Staffordshire,
England 🏴
Owned by
Heritage Brewing Co. / William Worthington Brewery
Associated with 3 Venues
Established in 1982
We have stillaging and cooling equipment, will organise a selection of beers for you to approve and set it all up
For something a little different ask if we have our vintage Morris dray available. It has been on display at festivals and was used as a hearse for a funeral.
Mid-2024 the ownership of the Burton Bridge brewery has changed hands in a merger which also ensures the future of the town’s Heritage brewery.
The deal sees Burton Bridge come under the umbrella of leisure company Planning Solutions, which previously ran the National Brewery Centre in Burton, prior to Molson Coors’ decision to close it.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 22nd July 2025. Clear golden amber with shallow foam affording plenty of lacing. Nutty malt aroma. Zesty peel and malty nuttiness in-mouth and a finish composed of both the aforementioned. Plenty of body and a smooth mouthfeel. A fine pint.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 31 May 2025) Dark brown colour with hints of ruby. Frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of plums, chocolate and dark fruit. Malty, roasty, fruity taste with plums, prunes, dark fruit, chocolate, bread and a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Smooth and tasty, with a fresh fruit character. Nice one.

10/7/2025. Cask at the Ealing Beer Festival 2025. Taster was recommended. I like ginger but as a beer this was just like a weak watery ginger ale. Not at all “zingy”. Very unappealing.
