bottle, brewed by Unertl for Waldschmidt Getränke Eschlkam, bought in Eschlam. Pale yellow, cloudy, visible and lively carbonation. Malty and yeasty, slightly fruity. Very lively carbonation indeed, which does not add to the otherwise pleasant mouthfeel.

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, mid-sized, slowly collapsing off-white head, clumps of yeast visible; distinctive nose: dried black fruit, roasted malt, supported by some acidity; medium-bodied, robust sweet flavour, sorrounded by sourish aromas; yeast, but also glue (phenols, necrotic yeast ?) in the sweet-fruity finish. The "glue" destroys the good impressions...........

Huge amberish head over amber beer with green-yellow shine. Caramelly, citrus, tomatoes (" passata "), wheat, faint cloves, very estery-yeasty nose. Sourish, very fresh taste. Reminds me again of the sourishness of passata. Sweeter caramel & banana underneath, even some malt, but less clovey than the nose. Rather light body compared to most Hefe’s, but refreshing. Some wheatslickness. Very nice "Original/Ur"(=amber) Weisse. More lively than most.

Bottled. Dark brown colour, mediumsized off-white head. Strong wheat, banana and malts in aroma. Seeds/rye and alcohol is also present. Flavour is spices, wheat, banana, clove and spices. In finish there’s slightly bread and also chocolate noteable. Very full and nice beer.

(bottle) Hazy, murky brown colour with a fluffy, slowly lacing off-white foamy head. Strong banana-fruity (also red berries) aroma with chalky wheat malt and light spicy notes with alcohol in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a lively carbonation; Wheat-malt, with a toasted touch, banana-fruity notes with a touch of vanilla and cacao; heart-warming, delicate fruity and malty finish. An enhanced Dunkelweizen. Good.

Bottle, thanks Pivnizub. Fruity, bread and honeyish, light ethanolic aroma. HUGE head, yet restrained carbonation - cloudy orange chestnut colour. Surprising chocolate start, roasted and brandynotes follow - like boozefilled chocolates, fermented bananas, vanillea, cherry or marzipan notes, minerallic yeast - this is actually good - much better than it sounds. Mellow mouthfeel, medium body.

Flip-top bottle: Hazy, very dark amber coloured, small tanned head, that slowly diminishes to a small, stable foamy layer; almost toasted aromas in the sweetish, fruity (black berries) and a bit sourish nose; mild sweetish-sourish flavour, medium to full bodied; toasted malty, fruity (berries again) and sweet finish. A very well done mixture of a Dunkel and a Weizen; reminds me a very little bit of a Liefmans Goudenband..........

Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is dark fruit, wheat and berries. Flavour is wheat, fruits and some yeast. A bit sticky and mouth drying.

[Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm] Cloudy dark amber, rich head. Sweetish with medium body and clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Somewhat citric with notes of rye bread. Fairly low on esters.
