(Bottle at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, on 2008-11-10) Dark brown and cloudy. Medium sized white head. Banana and salty liquorice in nose. Full bodied palate with medium carbonation. Banana, salty liquorice, fruitiness, little bit of bitterness and some chocolate in taste. Banana and malts in aftertaste that doesn’t last long.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy golden with a white head. Tart, unclean aroma of rotten fruit. Thin and watery with a heavy carbonation. Light notes of banana and yeast. No bitterness - no finish really, it just fades. 051008

Bottle, 2.9%. Weak banana aroma. Hazy golden colour. OK stable white head. The flavour has a little banana and spice. Quite light. High carbonation.

A deep red burgndy beer with an extra thick light moka head. Burned caramel and figs in aroma, with light peatyness and fruity figs. In mouth, treacle and caramel, light lactic notes, lighter bodied than expected. On tap at In de Wildeman, Nov. 2006, 2.50 Euro, 250 mL.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark amber to brown with a huge and tan head. Roasted and light fruity aroma. Mild estery yet also bock-ish aroma. Flavour is sweet and fruity. Mild orange note - infection? Ends fruity and wheaty estery.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark and hazy to almost murky brown with a small yet dense and creamy head, light tan. Orange fruity and light milky aroma. Flavour is fruity, of oranges and mild wheaty. Light malt note too. Milky and wheaty/estery finish. Not sure this is intentional and somewhat strange.

(50 cl bottle purchased at Ambrosetti in Berlin)BB 21.09.08Black color, light tan head. Strawberry yoghurt lactic scent, almost like an ice-cream from 15-20 years ago I still remember. Sweet, lactic, dry, alcohol, metallic taste. Medium to moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Deutlich saurer Antrunk, nur wenig malzig, prickelnd. Im Mittelteil etwas harmonischer, weiterhin ist aber die Säuerlichkeit führend. Stärker als im Antrunk ist das Malz, das aber auch hier keinesfalls als stark zu bezeichnen ist. Im Abgang etwas herb, spritzig. Test vom 6.5.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,6,5,6,10,5 - 6,15

Spritziger Antrunk, in dem bereits eine deutliche Malznote erscheint. Im Mittelteil würziger und leicht süßm ezent hefig, dabei weiter vollmundig würzig. Dies lässt zum Abgang hin nach, hier ist das Bier leicht herb, das Malz ist nur noch leicht erschmeckbar, macht aber durch seine Ausbreitung trotzdem noch das Hauptaroma aus. Zum Ende kommt noch mal ein malzig-schokoladiges Aroma auf. Sehr süffiges und harmonisches Weizen, das sich von den meisten Konkurrenzprodukten deutlich abgrenzt. Bottle. Hazy body with a golden-orange color, and an off-white head. Sour, wheaty and slightly fruity and yeasty aroma. The flavor starts a bit sour as well, with lemon, wheat and some notes of banana. The mouthfeel is medium full, with a sour bite. A strange weiss that also finishes slighlty sour. Would have thought it was off, but not sure, and the bottle was not past BB-date. Could definately do better without the sourness. (070806)
