Description
Unsere Brauerei wurde im Jahr 1556 gegründet – 40 Jahre nach dem Erlass des bayerischen Reinheitsgebotes. Das ist lange her – tiefes Mittelalter, kurz vor der Reformation. Das Bier wurde damals als „flüssiges Brot des armen Mannes“ ausgeschenkt, weil der Wein zu teuer war. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wechselte die Brauerei vielfach den Besitzer oder Betreiber. Ihren lange geführten Namen erhielt sie schließlich von Joseph Sedlmayr: Seine Initialen sind noch heute Teil des Wappens der Brauerei Maisach, die über 100 Jahre von der Familie Sedlmayr geführt worden war. Seit Januar 2016 betreibt Michael Schweinberger die Brauerei und führt damit die Tradition der Privatbrauerei weiter: Im Team werden hochwertige, handgemachte Biere gebraut – ganz im Sinne des klassischen Brauhandwerks.

bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma cappuccino fine persistente, colore ambrato carico velato, al naso è intensa frutta maura prugne secche nocciole tostate zucchero di canna miele infine leggero marsala, in bocca malto tostato caramello zucchero di canna miele uvetta marron glacé, corpo rotondo, alcool ben bilanciato, carbonazione leggera, buon dolce bilanciato da un amaro moderato. Calda corroborante ideale per le serate invernali. Mi piace! Ottima c. Luppoli e Uva Varese 15.10.21

Served in Stein. Aroma is bready malty with good amount of lemon and some noble hops. Taste is light sour malt which resembles more a rustic character. Good bread and noble hops as well. Quite drinkable. Not a huge fan of the sour note. Alright.

500 ml bottle as Maisacher Volksfest Halbe. Pours clear amber with a small head. Hazelnuts, caramel, grassy citrussy notes, slightly metallic. Malty sweetness, mild dry bitterness. Medium bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, mild dry sweetish finish. Okay!

330 ml bottle. Unclear golden, foamy head. Clove and banana, vanilla, butter cookies, lemon zest, hay. Malty fruity sweetness, slightly dry. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry fruity sweet finish. Nice and drinkable Maibock.

From bottle. Lime juice, lemonade, some beer. Mild dry sourness, some sweetness. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, mild dry sweet finish. Decent Naturradler, not too sweet but also not much beer.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy orange, fluffy head. Banana, clove, yeast, orange zest, bready sourdough notes. Mild dryness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry finish. Nice!

330 ml bottle. Clear golde, foamy head. Zesty grapefruit, grassy hops, some hay and caramel malts, hops extract. Hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, crisp bitter finish. Okay but bit boring.
