Description

Due to insolvency bought by Brauerei Kühbach in 2024.

Golden with little white head. Aroma is good noble hops, with some sweet malty grains. Clean but nice. Sweet malty body with bitter tart accents. Drinkable and full bodied. I like it

Fläschla: Pale golden, not completely clear, small and stable white head; dryish herbal-grassy nose with faint papery traces; moderate dry bitter flavour, very small base of balancing malts, light bodied or "slim"; slightly lingering dryish herbal finish, followed by a molecular malty sweetness in the aftertaste. Just not much better than the usual nasty suspects from the North-German badlands. This "guitar" (what a stupid name for a beer...) is a bit out of tune...

Bottle: Deep golden, hazy, creamy persistent off-white head with a good lacework; sourish-fruity nose (lemons) with both a touch of vegetables and yeast; moderate sourish sweetish flavour with an easily detectable bitterness, medium bodied and pretty soft; soft sourish-wheaty finish. Refreshing Weizen...

Euro-Flasche: Sourish fruity-yeasty traces ( n o t caused by infection!) in the sweetish grainy and strawy nose; pale golden, nearly clear, medium-sized loose white head that slowly collapses; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, a bit tart; lingering, drier bitter and mildly pale-malty finish. Not too bad, but all in all disappointing...

Good and moreish...
