Description
Cellarmaker Brewing Company has been in the works for quite some time. Look for our beers to start making their way around better known beer bars and beer focused restaurants in San Francisco starting in September.
We have a tasting room in the same building as the brewery and will offer tasters, pints, and growlers. Some beers may be bottled further down the line but for now it's all draft. The only way you can take our beer away is in the form of a growler - which by the way, is a great way to drink beer!
Look for a focus of plenty of hoppy beers, belgian-style saisons, dark beers, and sour beers. We are huge fans of wine and bourbon barrel aged beers as well so it's only natural for us to have a barrel program. Think bourbon barrels loaded with big chewy imperial stouts, excessively hopped IPAs, fruited sour beers, and funky saisons. This is what we love. This is what we are all about. We hope you are too!
Please follow along for the ride as we build San Francisco's next great brewery.
Cheers!

On tap at CHoP Oakland.
Aroma is hop forward and fairly fruity with nice stone fruit and citrus notes along with some classic dankness. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes.
Pours a slightly hazy, golden color with a small, white, thick head that recedes steadily to the edges and disappears. Moderate lacing and small legs.
Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Fairly strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate notes of stone fruit and tropical fruit with lighter citrus notes and a bit of pine resin.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid West Coast IPA with a nice balance of fruity and dank hop notes. Balanced bitterness and alcohol notes. Easy drinking and crisp.

Can dated July 7, 2025 - only 5 days old! Pours clear light gold with small white head. Aroma is melon, grapefruit and dank. Flavor follows suit and ratchets up the dank. The finish is surprisingly quick and thin at the death - which leads to a bit of dank spike. Great beer and fun to drink so quickly after being canned.

Pours a hazy, yellow-gold color with a large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs.

Overall, a solid IPA. It's not particularly hazy which allows for a lighter malt profile. Nice hop.character in the aroma and flavor. Aroma is much fruitier while the flavor is much more dank. Not particularly hazy.
