Bottle, golden beer, small head. Aroma is sweet, yeast, malty, light hops, spice/peppery. Taste is the same, yeasty peppery, sweet, malt, hoppy. Average yeasty belgian blonde.

Huge, dense, just lightly yellowish head, extremely stable, over hazy, lively carbonated orange beer, blessed with textbook lace. Very creamy nose, spicy malts, bit peppery, garden weeds, ever so faintly earthy. Outspoken malty flavour, partly toasted malts, unsweet caramel, restsugars in the very finish, lingering on. Again somewhat peppery-herbal-earthy. Slick, bit oily MF, creamy (the stubborn head). Medium bodied. The blurb might be a heap of meaningless clichés, grammatical mistakes included (and rectified), they are at least right about one thing: this beer has indeed character.

Bottle at Aux Trois Moulins Cassel. Dark brown beer lasting tan head. Well it's a mid malty beer. Some bran cereal flavour. Some hop sting on the finish. It's not amazing but solid. A little heat. Doesn't set the pulses racing. Not much yeast character either.

Bottle at Aux Trois Moulins Cassel. Clear blond colour lasting white head. Yes decent tripel. Some strong blond character then the spicy zesty orange and lemon and grapefruit kick in. Quite bitter and hoppy on the end. Belgian hops. Yes I liked it. Bit then I like this style. Reminds me of being in my spiritual home.

75cl bottle from Primeurs Achiel in Oostende. F: big, tan, long lasting. C: dark brown, hazy with coppery tones against the light. A: dark malts, chocolate, coffee, banana, apples, spicy, Belgium yeast. T: full malty base, banana, apples, spicy, bit chocolate, coffee, bit dark bread, nice balanced bitterness, medium to high carbonation, quite nice winter ale, better than expected.

Voici une blonde de la brasserie Strubbe très honnête et qui ne peut renier ses origines belges. Le visuel est sur un blond paille limpide avec une fine effervescence soutenue et une mousse blanche de 5 mm d'épaisseur. Le nez est sur une alliance citron, coriandre, céréales et miel avec une touche de banane. Nous retrouvons des basiques belges. En bouche, si l'alcool à 7 % manque de vivacité, l'ensemble fonctionne bien. Les arômes de miel ressortent davantage qu'au nez. L'attaque présente une très légère acidité qui s'intègre cependant bien et qui donne de la fraîcheur. La deuxième bouche est à l'identique. C'est à l’arrière-bouche que les arômes de miel s'amplifient réellement. La corpulence est acceptable tout comme la longueur même si l'on aurait préféré un peu plus de longueur. Pas mal.

Fles gedeeld bij JoepvW door Inoven met een avondje sinterklazen. Het is een donker roodbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van blauwe bessen en rozijnen. De smaak is vol fruitig, zacht port achtig en zoet met tonen van rozijnen, pruimen en blauwe bessen.

Flesje gedeeld door Joep. Donkerbruin bier met matig schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Aroma van rozijnen, kersen en krenten. Smaak is zoet, fruitig (rozijnen, pruimen, bessen) en iets bitter. Nasmaak is plakkerig in de mond en licht bitter tot wrang maar ebt snel weg.
