22/VI/22 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ last choir rehearsal before summer, BB: VII/2023, lot 2521 (2022-769)
Little cloudy bright yellow beer, big creamy white head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity up front, a little fruity, very malty, grains, pretty bitter as well, hoppy, grassy. Aftertaste: more bitterness, hoppy, a bit grassy, dry, malty, grains, spicy finish.

Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Hazy dirty gold colour lasting white head. Light saispn more a grisette I would say. Some delicate white flower flavour Yes a light delicate grisette but fine.

Bottle at le Bier Circus, Brussels on 4th February 2022. Pours a light copper with minimal foam. Yeasts, salts and spices in aroma. Sweet caramel malts in-mouth, and a toffee malt finish. Smooth mouthfeel and plenty of body.

Hazy dark brown to black, small, frothy, tan head. Aroma of plum, raisin, fig, caramel, pear syrup, milk chocolate, peanut. Taste has sweet fig, plum & pear in a syrupy, slightly nutty, toffee-malty body surrounded by spicy & herbal notes. Earthy hoppy finish, more dried fruit, toffee & warming liqueur-like alcohol. Medium body, slick-syrupy texture, average carbonation. Satisfying but rather sweet, and could have had just a tad more depth.
