Description
Ouvert depuis 2016, la brasserie et distillerie Oshlag est tout d'abord située dans le quartier de Mercier (rue Dickson) à Montréal.
Il s’agit du tout premier établissement au Québec à brasser de la bière et à distiller des spiritueux sous le même toit.
La brasserie fait partie du Groupe Glutenberg depuis sa création.
Ce dernier sera racheté en 2022 par la Groupe Triani, qui déménagera le brassage dans son usine de Terrebonne.
Le Groupe Triani sera ensuite acheté par le Groupe Prime Drink en 2024.

Bottle: Poured a light reddish color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and light lacing notes. Aroma of raspberry and hibiscus with some subtle notes of peppers is quite awesome. Taste is also a nice mix of raspberry and hibiscus with some light heat from the peppers. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very nice mix of fruity flavours with some light residual sugar and low heat from the peppers with overall good drinkability.

A hazed golden ale with a thick collapsing lacing white head. In aroma , nice fruity malt with light acidity, light rye notes, light fruity esters, pleasant. In mouth, a nice tart sweet fruity malt with light Epsom salts, light acidity, light spices, very nice and refreshing.

Bottle (thanks martin and marduk). Pours dark brown with beige head. Aroma is fruity, black bread, sugar. Flavor is sweet and bitter, bread, rye, roast. Finish is black bread. Overall: good. --- Beer merged from original tick of Seto Õlu. on 20 Sep 2017 at 11:02
