Deep burnished orange body is topped by a small white head showing moderate to low retention. High clarity.
Spring water, minerals, very light sourdough and some dry, herbal and peppery hop notes in the nose. Quite reserved, maybe a touch low on aroma but no flaws or alcohol noted.
Sourdough-like maltiness (munich or vienna) up front is appropriate and leads to a softer, pils malt-like sweetness that is brushed with pepper and light herbal hoppiness. Clean, rather watery and a touch light on the carbonation, or perhaps it’s just a little loose/fizzy, leading to being a little "heavier" than it actually is (and not producing as strong an aroma). Still, this is nicely attenuated, very clean and hard to argue with. Following up HF Susan is a tough act to follow, as well.
Agree with Martin, this seems more of a classic German Pils than it does a svetly.

Lightly hazy, soft-hued golden body has a small, but fairly well-retained (for the style) head.
Lemon, salt and light bready malts are present in the nose. A touch of vanilla adds some softness, and it seems like there’s going to be a good deal of tartness, based on the aroma. Moderate strength of aroma, though I’ve gotta imagine salt dulls the aroma in beer, nor is wheat a hugely aromatic grain. I’m not convinced this isnt an 8 or 9 for aroma, just dont know enough about the style and potential/expected aromatics. I mean, hell, this beer has all of one extant version that has been brewed for longer than like 5-6 years (leipzeiger).
I thought the flavor was just phenomenal and I hate all of you who gave this just a very mediocre score. The flavor was full of lemony-nectarine tartness, with a chewy mouthfeel lightened by the brisk, but not excessive carbonation. Touches of honey/dough maltiness give body and a bit more depth, while the saltiness rounds out the style points. Wonderfully balanced, salty but not too much so, and quite tart and refreshing. Could there be more flavor? Yes. Would it be at the expense of more alcohol and maltiness? Probably. I don’t love the saltiness in goses, which I think works against the sessionability, but everything else here seems incredibly well-executed. Excited for the RB NE meetup where I can try more of their beers.

Half pour enjoyed with my dinner @ Prohibition Pig. Lightly hazy gold with light lace. Aroma is light citrus notes, coriander, and traces of yeast. Flavor starts with mild coriander, with some citrus zest joined yeast and a light hop presence in the finish. Solid backbone of wheat and grain. This brew has a clean dry finish and real easy to drink. Well done.

Meg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, bright gold with a lasting, creamy white head. Lots of rich, bready malts in the nose, light hay, yeast, cereal. Light to medium sweet flavor with crispy cereal, lightly grainy bread, mild dirty hay. Light to medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with faint hay bitterness, some husky grains and cereal, further tasty bread. Great stuff. Really nails the style. If I tased this blind I would guess it is German.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours black-brown with a creamy, beige head. Good roasty malt nose with touches of smokey campfire and cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with a well-rounded dark malt character, further roast and smoke, dry chocolate, some earth. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Pleasant, well balanced finish, restrained smoke, some toasted wholegrain bread, mellow bittersweet cocoa. Just great balance overall with nicely realized flavors.

Key at the brewery tap room. Pours lightly hazy good, effervescent with a frothy white head. Doughy wheat in the nose, chamomile, light spices, yeast. Light to medium sweet flavor with white bread, further camomile, some straw, orange, wheat. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Good balance to finish, light sweetness, some dry bready pale malts, wheat, citrus. Lovely witbier. Lots of goodness packed in here.
