After years honing our skills in the brewing and process industry, we set forth to create a brewery with a simple mission; to produce honest beer. The result is a 7,000bbl brewery located in Northern Vermont that is capable of brewing any style of ales and lagers. The brewery takes inspiration from lesser known European beer styles, along with local Vermont life to guide our brews. The attention to detail, modern equipment, and love for beer help produce truly authentic, unique beers. Cheers!

A hazed blonde Gose with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with lemon notes, nice and tart. In mouth, classic Gose with lemon juice character, light fruity notes, salt notes, refreshing.

Keg at Worthy Burger - South Royalton, VT. Pours lightly hazy, bright yellow-gold with a moderate, frothy white head. The nose holds lightly dried dough, some Belgian yeast, straw. Medium sweet flavor with a sturdy, doughy malt foundation, hints of bubblegum, lightly soicy yeast, mellow straw bitterness, hints of mandarin orange. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, some orange merengue, doughy malts, Belgian yeast, mellow bitterness. Really drinkable stuff - as a saison ought to be.

Keg at Three Penny Taproom - Montpelier. Pours lightly hazy gold with a fine, filmy white head. Nose has some tangy lemon and hints of dough. Light sweet flavor with zippy lemon, light salt, some white bread in the background. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, restrained citric tang, faint lemon rind bitterness. Simple but quite refreshing.

Draft @ Worth Burger, snifter shows an amber color small head. Nose is dirty caramel malt with a nice mellow pine hop. Flavor is real nice balance of toasted caramel malts and the pine hop that shows in the aroma. Medium in body with a Earthy/ pine hop in the finish. Nice lower ABV brew to drink. Easy to knock back several.

(12 mai 2013)
