Cask at The New Oxford. A pale golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, hops, and caramel. The flavor is sweet and very malty, but also lighter notes of fruit and bitter hops. I can’t figure out if the fruity notes stem from the yeast or the hops.

Cask@The Swan, Liverpool. Golden/amber colour with minimal head. Plenty of juicy fruit in evidence here both in the nose and the flavour with some slightly pissy hop. Gently bitter finish. Quite enjoyable if largely unremarkable.

13th November 2008. Clear gold beer, decent white head. Smooth immediate fruity orange grapefruit. A hint of peach. Smooth creamy malt. Not bitter or dry. Refined and tasty.

Cask @ Edgar Wallace, Temple, London WC2. Pours a dark golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy citrus finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.
