Description
George Wright started production in 2003. The original 2.5-barrel plant was replaced by a five-barrel one, which has since been upgraded again to 25 barrels.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120119]

Cask @ 12th Ayrshire Real Ale Festival, Troon 2011. Golden colour, white head. Nose is light malted and citric. Flavour is vegetables, light malted, bit of lemonade and citrus. Slightly bitter finish. Ok-ish.

Cask handpull at Dispensary Liverpool. Very deep ruby colour lasting dark beige head. Tasty enough dark mild with good dark fruits and a little date flavour. Tasty drinkable dark fruity mild.

Cask, gravity at a pre-Candleford Beer Festival tasting 09.06.11 many thanks to John, Roger & all of the organisers for inviting me over Pours dark gold with a touch of haze. Some light hoppiness and a touch of citrus otherwise quite a subdued beer, although it is quite pleasant. A6 A3 T6 P4 Ov13

@ Market Porter. A dark mild with a thin head. Lightly toffeeish, with an earthy, mushroomy nose. Fresh toffee and light chocolate.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and mild citrusy. Peachy and slight citrusy hops flavoured. Bitter and bonedry finish.
