Description
George Wright started production in 2003. The original 2.5-barrel plant was replaced by a five-barrel one, which has since been upgraded again to 25 barrels.

(Cask at Welkin JDW, Liverpool, 19 July 2009) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with citrus peel, biscuity malt and a touch of butter (diacetyl?). Fruity taste with notes of citrus, biscuity malt and fairly fresh hops in the finish. Decent bitter with a nice hop character. Unsure of the condition though.

Cask (handpump) @ The Old Market Tavern, Alrincham, Cheshire England WA14 4DN... Light amber .. lioght hop nose ... thick white head ...dry hop little creamy ... sweet fruits ...bitter linger.

Cask @ The Crown & Kettle, Manchester M4. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus aroma. FRuity malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus finish with a bitter aftertaste.

Cask @ The New Oxford, Salford, Manchester M3. Pours a clear orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty floral hoppy citrus aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter finish with a long bitter aftertaste.

Cask @ The Waterhouse, JDW. Manchester M2. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish with hints of caramel in the aftertaste.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Clear golden colour, small white head. Aroma has a lot of citrus. Flavour is citric as well, with a bitter and dry finish.

Half pint, hand-pulled cask at The Continental, Preston. Clear golden, minimal head, spotty lacing. Fruit hoppy to the nose. Taste of dry hop bitterness with notes of grapefruit and oranges. Feels quite well bodied on the palate (03.05.2009).

Cask (handpump) @ The New Oxford, 11 Bexley Sq, Salford, Manchester, England M3 6DB.Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, fruity, moderate to heavy hoppy, flowers, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090123]

Cask @ GBBF 2008. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity citrus hoppy aroma. Sweetish fruity malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Cask at bow bar ... pale amber ... creamy off white head ... grapefruit peel and hop nose ... big grapefruit hop ... very juicy ... little tarty ... drying finish that builds
