375 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with short fizzy head that settles quickly. Aromas of dark sour cherries, sharp vinous wood, chocolate and roasted malts. Flavors follow same. The sour cherry and vinous wood are not complementary IMHO. Finishes like sour wine.

Pour at Stillwell Freehouse. Pours cloudy deep ruby. Aroma has barnyard funk, raspberry, leather, hay, red wine grape. Flavour is fairly dry and tart; notes of raspberry, raspberry, dry grass, plenty of tannins. Oaky and tannic dryness on the finish. Red wine notes might be a smidge too strong, but otherwise fantastic.

Burdock Classic Sparkling Ale 5% Gold with thin white foam that doesn’t linger. The aroma is somewhat fruity like a golden ale but then the taste is more bready with a crisp herbal finish and spicy white pepper in the finish. It’s medium bodied with a prickly carbonation.

Can lcbo. Tasty citrus zest and pith, leaning toward grapefruit, resin with some hop burn. All over a mildly sweet malt base. Decent.

Can: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some light tropical floral hops undertones. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some tropical juicy citrus hops notes and not much residual sugar and mostly dry finish. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. Easy drinking NEIPA with great drinkability.
