500ml bottle. Yellow gold colour, white foam heat that quickly dissipates away and tart apple aroma. Taste is crisp fruity apple, some sweetness, with alittle solvent, tartness and drying tannins. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Bag in Box at The George, Croydon. It pours pretty clear pale gold with a small, bubbly white head. The aroma is earth, funky, apple pie, vanilla, apple skin, earth, musty, gooseberry, whitecurrant and sherbet. The taste is quite mellow, dry, tart, apple skin, white grape, gooseberry, tannin, oak with a firmly dry finish. Medium bodied and still. Nice tart and dry. Akin to a dry white wine.

From 20 Litre Bag in Box @ Rockstone, Southampton. Unclear golden body with no head (of cause, it’s a still cider). Moderate in aroma, apples in general, not much acidity or farmhouse in the nose. Flavor is more than less like expected from aroma, mild and light apple, quite plain but no faults. Alcohol is well hidden. Somehow refreshing but a bit thin bodied. Drinkable but nothing to get exiting about.

Bag-in-a-box at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale and slightly hazy; a simple appley aroma and taste - which is similar to other Dabinett cider’s I’ve tried; and a drying finish. Rather plain and simple compared to some of the other ciders on offer at this festival, but still a good solid offering.
