From tap at the brewery. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is grassy, light teaish and mild fruity. Smooth fruity flavoured, subdued sweetness, light bitterness and crisp hoppy fruity into the finish.

From tap at the brewery. Pours hazy dark brown to deep amber with a small off white head. Aroma is mild herbal aroma, fruity and caramelish malty. Sweet toffee malty, caramelish. Bitter and light fruity. Toasted malty, caramelish and light fruity finish. Dark roasted.

Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Poured a murky dark brown with a thin very broken off-white head. The aroma is malt, molasses, yeast and a little toffee. The flavour is medium to weak bitter. Medium consistency with average carbonation and a watery slightly odd bitter palate.

330ml bottle. Fantastic, clear, ruby red mahagony colour with average, frothy, diminishing, beige head. Dark malty aroma with a nuttily touch, hints of chestnuts, marzipan, red berries. Taste is minimally tart fruity, bitter hoppy overtones, cautious dark malty basis with a nuttily touch. Promising aroma, slightly disappointing taste - lacks maltiness and body for a Bock.

Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. (bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Fruity and slightly resiny hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, orange zest and a mildly cara-malty background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a slightly spritzy carbonation. Soft cara-malty base with present notes of mainly fruity and slightly resiny hops, getting slightly grassy towards the mildly sweet-bitter finish. Likeable, also very Belgian. 03.XI.13
