Cask at Queen Vic, Aberdeen. It pours clear dark ruby - blacm with a thick, fluffy tan head. The aroma is earthy roast, toasty, burnt toast, dark roast, umami, salty liquorice, touch of dried/dark fruits and a touch of chocolate. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, charred vibes, dark roast, some umami, liquorice, burnt toast, cacao and some toasty spice with a drying, bitter roasted finish. Light+ body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Plenty for flavour for the abv. Commands attention. Nice one.

375ml bottle from brewery shop in Cairndow - black body with a massive lasting tan head. Real vineous berry notes, sharp bitterness, but balanced with some roasted chocolate notes. Very interesting beer this one.

375ml bottle from brewery shop in Cairndow - clear gold no head. Bit of yeasty apple in the nose, gentle tartness hides the ABV, some tanine aftertaste. Slightly disappointed, but still very nice.
