Pour is a hazy orange with a large and loud white head. Aroma is candi sugar with some musty barn. Flavor is a dry cracker malt with some grains of paradise like spice and finishes with some white grape. Not a estery yeasty saison. This was more dry malt with some lingering off spice. Still this is pretty good from a brewer that knows a thing or 2 about farmhouse ales.

Bottle. Gusher. Gold, white head. Aroma of crackers, lime, spices. Light bodied. Some chilli in the taste too and some unusual spice notes - tingly in a way that suggest Sichuan pepper. Slight bitterness. Some medicinal notes. Interesting Wit.

750ml bottle from Belgium. Coz tu mamy ducha w diable (nalane do szkla Duvel). Fantastycznie doprawione. Pomarancza, przyprawy ziolowe, pieprz zielony. Kwaskowe, zblizone do lambikow (moze nie tych starzonych wiele lat) ale jednak podobny profil, drobinki farfocli, Piana tylko nie za trwala opada szybko niczym odpadla Belgia z mistrzostw swiata. Na koniec ciekawostka. Fantome we wspolpracy z browarem USA z miejscowosci Lafayette, gdzie urodzil sie Axl Rose. Wiec dla mnie jak dla fana bezcenna informacja wiec daje juz punkt procentowy w ocenie wyzej:)

Bottle. Typical herbal Fantôme touch, especially in the aroma. Fruity, citrusy, flowery, with a gentle maltiness. Orange zest, piney, peppery hints and a funky touch. A Wit with a twist, nice indeed, tasteful and refreshing. 747414 260710

75cl Fles van Etre Gourmet. Mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Droog, bloem, gist, hooi, ruikt als een klassieke saison met een hint van peperkorrels, kaffir lime, behoorlijk bitter, redelijk fris. Lichte tot medium body. Weer eens een prima bier van Fantôme.

750ml bottle from Discount Liquors. $14.99. Murky brown tan body, steady off white head. Opened with a loud pop, but no gush. Funky, dry, very Belgian. Dried out candy sugar, spices. Well carbonated, great body. Some toffee, dark notes, but more of a dry spiced feel...a unique balance. Reminds me of a Blonde Dubbel mixed with a darkish Saison. As with most all Fantome, a lof of subtlety and depth comes out as you sip at it.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour with brief, foamy, off-white head. Malty, herbal nose with notes of apricots, orange peel, ripe peaches, bread, banana, spices and floral aromas. Malty, spicy taste with apricots, orange peel, bread, banana, cardamom, yeast and a balanced spicy/peppery bitterness in the finish. A mild acidity lurking in the background. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Spicy, herbal and tasty. Very nice.

75cl Fles van Etre Gourmet. Amber kleur, vuilwitte kraag. Ruikt behoorlijk kruidig, typisch Fantôme met karwijzaad, absint, gagel, hint van kaneel (?), droog, fors bitter, vleugje toffee, bittere finish. Medium body. Zit prima in elkaar maar was blijkbaar totaal niet waar ik trek in had, kruiden zijn te overheersend.
