Hand-pulled half-pint in The Railway Tavern, Newport (Shropshire) on 4th July 2022. Dark red and a bit murky, no head. Old cherry, slightly sour; struggled with it to be honest.

Cask gravity at the walkhampton Inn dartmoor. A clear greenish yellow coloured pour with a small halo. Aroma fresh candy apple, bark, grass, plastic. Pear drop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, light tart, mellow carbonation. Flavour is composed of clean apple juice, light tart, bark, white sugars.

12/4/2022. Draught sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Pours clear pale purple with minimal head. Huge parma violet sweets aroma with some fruity moams. Heavy sweetness, touch of tart. Moderate body, slightly watery, average carbonation. Really well done, but you need to like parma violets to enjoy this and I don’t.

Tap at the Social, Sheffield. Red colour, no head and aroma of parma violet sweets. Taste is sweet, fruity, apple, with parma violet sweet notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, syrupy sweet finish. Quite OK

Bladder bag at the Smithfield, Derby crawl, 11/02/22. Clear golden with a modest covering. Nose is tangy apple, straw, tannins, wood, grains. Taste comprises orchard wood, herb, apple skin, tannins, bitter sweet. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Not bad.

Taster at the Stable. Murky pour, orange golden, spotty head. Light fruity aroma. Taste comes in wonderfully smooth, sweet, creamy, apples, citrus, juicy. Really, really nice!
