Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, Sweden.
Dark amber. Intense fruity aroma with an evident punch of pine needles. Medium sweet and medium bodied. Rounded mouthfeel with notes of chocolate and a dryish bitter finish with lingering pine needle flavour.

Like the other Wychwood beers I have tried so far, this is below average. Pours a nice dark color with a slight coffee aroma but the flavor was seriously lacking. Thin and metallic and too fizzy. Maybe this is what a lightstruck Stout tastes like? Damn these clear bottles!

Another clear bottle import ruined by skunky smell. Another $3.50 down the drain. Another cool bottle concept wasted. This beer probably would not be bad otherwise, as it did have some hops flavor. I don''t know when some of these importers will realize they are shooting themselves in the foot with these clear bottles.

Golden-orange color. Smells like chicken? Later it develops a very interesting aroma: malt and light fruity, very nice hop, herbal. Dry, maybe too much carbonated, but good body, supported by a strong hopping, giving also a fruity taste.

Dark amber color. Malt aroma, with sweet and fruity light notes; then some good hop; herbal, and some yeast. Malt, caramel, light liquorice; unimpressive; rather dry, average body. quite long palate, not enough aromatic.

Not much body or flavor. Not much of anything, really. A beer for those that embrace the mediocre.

A dark amber beer wiht no head. The aroma is sligtly fruity as a typical ale. The flavor is a very rounded slightly bitter one. A very drinkable beer.

Points for a cool label and name. Very pretty dark amber color with a thick beige head. Light skunk aroma buried the malt and caramel that should have been more within reach. Luckily my bottle wasn't lightstruck long enough for the flavor to be affected as well. Even so, the flavor was a little unbalanced on the buttery/malty side. There was a slight nutty and hoppy flavor but not enough in my opinion. This wasn't too bad but I won't be rushing out to get it again.

Sampled cask conditioned at Cloister, Edinburgh. Pale amber. Flower hop aroma. Sweet and rather light bodied. Really fruity with "round" mouthfeel and low bitterness. Thirst quenching.

Amber colour. Very nice hop aroma, herbal. Some sweetness, light malt; good hopping, but spoiled by a metallic sensation. The palate doesn't keep what the aroma promises.
