12oz (thx, Brian C.!) @ 🏡. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: bourbon, chocolate, some berries character. Taste: bourbon, some barrel, roasty character, black chocolate, a bit dry finish. Overall: it is quite pleasant, how due to the thin base it requires mode body.

(355ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours completely opaque medium brown like chocolate milk with a few loose giant bubbles, again like powdered chocolate milk! Aroma of semi-sweet chocolate, chocolate milk, soft to moderate peanut butter, a little cacao bitterness. Flavour is lightly sweet with notes of peanut butter in chocolate milk, moderate toasty grains and cacao bitterness, soft dark sugars, a little lactose sweetness but finishing quite dry with low bitterness and lots of lingering chocolate milk and peanuts. Mouthfeel is extremely thick with the feeling of peanut butter pureed in water, very low carbonation. Truly bizarre beer. It's actually pretty decent and fun, though I'd like the mouthfeel to be smoother for its thickness. I've had much more peanut-heavy 'typical' pastry stouts as well.
A deep dark stout with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, molasses, caramel, vanilla, alcohol warmth, OK. In mouth, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, nice. Can.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a small dark brown foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of sweet pasty notes with some black chocolate notes and light roasted malt notes. Taste is a nice balanced mix of sweet black chocolate notes with some coconut and a pastry finish with balance level of residual sugar notes. Body is little bit thin for style with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol notes. Solid flavored stout with some good balanced for good drinkability.
