An unclear red-orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroam is very fruity combined with notes of raspberries and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood and raspberries - the alcohol tickles the tongue, but can’t be tasted.

An unclear orange beer with a small beige head. The aroma is lovely sweet combined with notes of oranges and peaches. The flavor is of a very well aged beer with notes of spices, oranges, and peach, leading to a dry finish with some notes of coriander. A great triple - the best non-Belgian Triple I’ve had.

Thanks to Foolish_Mortal for sending this one out! Huge frothy white head that lingers over a medium yellow beer. Spicy lemony aroma. Sweet balanced flavor mixed with some acidity. Nicely balanced, with just enough hop bitterness to keep things interesting.

Bottle. Rich amber color with no head. Sweet malt aroma with some yeast/spiciness. Sweet malt/honey flavor with some spice. Thick bodied. Hides alcohol very well. Much better tasting with a bit of the yeast swirled in. Leaves a bit of spiciness and sweetness on the tongue.

Ruddy orange-brown body, medium off-white (buff) head. Caramely, toasty, hoppy aroma. Well-made but not unique, with caramel and toasty malts dominating the flavor profile along with piney, grapefruity hops. Slight aging mellowed the hops a bit, allowing the malts to dominate the flavor profile. Finished with a subtle ethanol punch. Very good, but not stellar. Thanks to humulus for opening this bottle!

Alesmith continues to impress. This beer proves you don’t have to "Imperialize" something to make it good. Pours a lightly hazy orange amber color with a thick and creamy off-white head. Thick patches of lacing in the glass. Big citrus and floral hops in the nose. Medium body with loads of hops, spice and citrus and a nice malt undercurrent. The finish is hoppy with noticeable pine and lingers well. Great work here.

Dark amber ale with a thin off-white head. Hoppy malts with alcohol and sugar notes in aroma, very faint. Light sweet sugar with barely any hops, surprising considering the origin. Dryish and light bodied ESB. Dissapointing.

Anno 2003 - tried it first time summer 2004 but thought it needed a bit more time, so I decided to bring a bottle back from LA to enjoy on my birthday the following march.
Red brown with nice gradient, low head. Sweet molases nose, fruit, earth, chocolate and vineous (cognac or sherry) notes. Sweet pralines, candied fruit, earth (slight mold). Very full sweet body, earthy chocolate aftertaste.
