Bottle. Oliver’s. Clear pale gold. No head. Nose has fresh manure. Light whisky notes. Sour apple. Peculiar, to say the least. Taste is tart, dry, acetic. Palate is a little flabby. Low carbonation. Acetic fairly sharp finish. Dunno if this is as intended but it’s doing nothing for me.

Bottle from Corks of North St, Bristol. Pours clear pale gold with no head. Cap popped with a bang, small amount climbed out. Very spritzy pour, soft & mellow sweet pears, just a smidge of tartness & very light tannins. Hints of funk. Superb

Bottle pour at The London Cider House, explodes upon opening, pours a clear bright golden with a monstrous white head. Aroma is full of black pepper, intense barnyard funk, and champagne-like effervescence. Flavour is super complex, with wonderfully complex barnyard funk, champagne-like effervescence, black pepper, and hay. There's also considerable residual sweetness that melds with the black pepper character. Such an interesting, complex cider.

Bottle pour at The London Cider House, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of big horse blanket, dry pear skins, and champagne-like effervescence. Flavour is complex, with light-to-medium sweet pears, plenty of hay and funk, champagne-like effervescence. Really nicely put together as usual, with so much depth. Excellent.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, 16/02/24. Almost clear golden orange with a thin white cap that clears to spotting. Nose is bitter sweet apple, tangy, light funky notes, straw. Taste comprises apple pulp, sugars, tannins, light funk, hay bale. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent as always from Olivers if perhaps a touch overly sweet for my liking.
