Bouteille 660ml.

Pours a copper colour with a deep amber hue. Nice creamy beige head, long lasting and thick creamy lace. Fresh grassy nose with some chocolate malt aromas. Hints of sweetness also from the yeast, seems like oats as well. The hops are also quite present with piney notes over mild roasted malts. Good bitterness lingering. Decent dryness. A nice American Black ale.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dark dirty beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of Brett notes with light caramel malt notes is pretty interesting. Taste is also dominated by dry Brett notes with some dry caramelized cereal notes. Body is pretty full for style with good carbonation. Easy drinking with nice level of complexity.

Bottle: Poured a dark black color ale with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some green hoppy notes is pretty satisfying. Taste is a mix of dry roasted malt with some green, citrusy and resinous shops notes with well-balanced bitterness level. Body is little bit thinner then I was expecting with good carbonation. Solid example of the style but fuller body and creamier body would have been even better.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur orange brûlé limpide, mousse beige fuyante laissant une fine couche.

Decent roast, some citrus. Decent black IPA without being remarkable. Light bittersweet finish. Cask Days shared by someone.

500mL bottle, sent from yourilevesque (thanks a lot, Youri), pours a cloudy dark orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out light brett notes and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with light bretty notes upfront, followed by dry biscuity malt and a touch of hoppiness. Not terribly exciting or complex, but it's clean and drinkable.

650mL bottle, sent from yourilevesque (thanks a lot, Youri), pours a deep dark brown / near black with a small tan head. Aroma is phenomenal, with roasted malts and piney hops in impeccable balance. Flavour is similarly impeccably balanced, with loads of roasted malt and piney hops. Can't get much better than this for a black IPA. Just outstanding in every way.
