Bottle from Bradley Villa Farm Shop, Huddersfield. Golden with a head. Traditional English bottle conditioned ale with a light fruity sweetness and a light bitterness. Bitter in aroma too.

22/12/2021. Bottle from Notcutts Garden Centre, Woodbridge. Christmas countdown beer 4. Pours mid-dark brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, dried fruits, molasses, fruit cake, touch of liquorice. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. One of their more enjoyable ones.

Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness, slightly tart with harsh undertones. Moderate body, oily watery texture, average carbonation. Okay, a little rough.

A birthday gift from my parents. Aroma is is malty, citrusy and buttery. Clear copper gold. Frothy white head. Light-medium bitter. Zesty sour edge. Malty sweetness. Buttery. An off note that I can't place. Light. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Not great. Would be a zesty Gold but just had an odd flavour to it.

14/5/2021. Bottle bought direct from Cottage Delight. Pours dark amber red with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma of malty drinking chocolate, dried fruits, molasses, toffee, fruit cake. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Started well but became quite watery and clammy.
