Cask at the Market Porter in Southwark. Aroma of apple?, hop and malt. Fruity hop anyway. Dead amber color with a lightly lacing white head. Starts with a lightly spicy hop, along with malt, moving to light malt, getting enough hop at the finish to balance it out. Not an astringent finish, but enormously refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark color with a longlasting off-white head. Fruity malty aroma with some hoppy hints. Malty hoppy flavor with some hints of licorice and chocolate. Dry malty finish with lots of chocolate and a long bitter aftertaste.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 8 Dec) Golden colour with hints of amber. Small white head. Fruity, slightly soapy, nose with notes of grapefruit, orange and toffee. Fruity taste with notes of grapefruit, mandarin and toffee. Rather sweet, malty finish where the alcohol comes through as well. Notes of butterscotch, but the nice hop character makes it quite enjoyable.

Pint on cask. Has got a medium fresh, floral aroma. Amber in colour with a ring of foam. Well balanced hoppy taste with rich amounts of succulent oranges. Rounded bitterness towards the finish. Moderate palate. Served in room temperature and in good condition at Oliver Twist in Söder, Stockholm (01.12.2006).

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm 30 Nov 2006. Golden coloured. A small creamy head clinging to the glass. Faint fruity aroma. Undeterminable perfumed flavour. A bit unvaried, but some bitterness in the finish.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm 30 Nov 2006. Red/golden coloured. A small creamy head clinging to the glass. Fruity and caramellish aroma. Rich fruity flavour dominated by orange. A bitter "twist" in the aftertaste. Very pleasant.
