Bottle: Poured a deep bright golden blond color ale with a medium size foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of light vanilla and some very subtle tart notes form the oak is quite intriguing with a nice mix of pale malt. Taste is also a mix of very subtle vanilla with some pure malt and a light oak finish. Body is about average with some good carbonation. Not something I would go for very often but interesting mix nonetheless.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is whiskey and wood - too much for me, combined with notes of plastic and phenol. The flavor has notes of plastic, phenol, dust, and alcohol. By far the worst of the series.

330 ml bottle. Clear, golden body with a nice, but collapsing off-white head. Aroma is strong caramel with vanilla. Flavor is sweet caramel, vanilla, oak and descent bitterness, quite smooth. The aftertaste has a clear indication of whisky. There is a lot better and stronger flavored oak aged beers out there, but this is quite nice anyway.
