Poured up on tap at Flanny’s with a crystal clear gold body that supports a light tan head of foam that someone eventually settled down to a bright white foam ring, not sure how it changed colors. The aroma offers up sugar sweet malts, cotton candy and then floral to lime like hoppiness. The taste begins sweet with a Pils like maltiness and then it flows into a nice mix of spicy and floral Noble like hoppiness. To midway and into the finish the hops jump up to a pleasing degree of bitterness. Nice refreshing brew.

From the February 2014 3R6P tasting +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel color with a medium sized foamy orange-beige head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet coconut, vanilla, toasty malts and marshmallow. The flavor was tangy and a somewhat bitter, boozy, coconut, vanilla, marshmallow, rum, wood and just a hint of chocolate and coffee. The finish was incredibly long with coconut, marshmallow, toasty malts and rum lingering. Moderately full bodied. Boozy but in a way that worked. Outstanding.

Bomber thanks to Sean. I love this brewery. Pours a dark unclear black color with a medium tan head. A big fruity nose, some smoke, heat. The flavor is very sweet, sticky, oil, dark fruit, molasses, some, some spicy rye. Really drinkable despite the ABV and sweetness. Oxidized a bit which helps. Tobacco.

650 ml bottle. Pours a very dark mahogany with light head. Spicy aromas of chicory, cinnamon, and raisin bread. Flavors of cinnamon, coffee, tobacco, and roasted malts. Quite spicy up front but mellows towards the end. Interesting.

22 oz. bottle. Dark ruby in color with thin head in a chalice. Nose is a mix of Dates and fig juice. Damn, I just saw on the label they use juice from concentrate. Yeah, the flavor is mostly juice. Huge dates, figs and light candy sugar toward the finish. I don’t get and yeast flavors at all. Lingering dates in the finish. Maybe I’m just not a huge fan of Date juice. meh

Drought at International Great Beer Expo (Meadowlands). Light amber color, whitish foamy head, hoppy aroma, high carbonation, longish finish with bitter aftertaste. The hoppy taste is too strong.

22oz bottle ("California Edition") picked up at Bevmo
Pours black with a small dark tan head and some lacing. Aroma of dark malts, caramel, piney and hot alcohols. The taste is sweet caramel, roasted malts, roast coffee, milk chocolate and hot alcohols, bitter finish
This is decent. I’ve had it for about a year and it is still pretty hot and bitter.
