Description
The brewery started with the first brews in 1995 and brought the first beers to the market in 1999. The brewers work according to traditional brewing methods to produce distinctive beers from the noble raw materials of barley malt, hops, water and yeast. The quality of the products is guaranteed by modern equipment in constant evolution and systematic analyzes of every brew in the laboratories of the Abbey Notre Dame d'Orval.

Bottle. Hazy reddish deep brown liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of dried fruit, light lemon, red berries, grain and toffee. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of raw sugar, cherries, raspberries, grain and toffee. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Decent.

Bottle from Voldby. Hazy orange with a lasting off-white head and lots of floaties. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 281214

Black color with brownish head. In this beer the roasted malts are well combined with the grappa; it’s quite dry but smooth, with some salty liquorice feeling; the aroma is a bit animal, sheep fur; not much bitterness; there are some ashes.Interesting, different.

Clear deep blond to orange beer, huge off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sourish, brett, lemony, grassy, reminds be a bit of Orval, actually! MF: lots of carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit funky, sourish, pretty bitter, grassy, citrus, soft sourness. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, some grapefruit, brett, bit sourish, funky, some dairy.

Borefts VI. Day 2. ’Craig has blue nipples’ post fest tasting in his room. Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate. Light sweet malts, pretty.sweet orange and a touch of something floral. Airy finish. Soft and sweet. Okay.

Borefts VI. Day 2. ’Craig has blue nipples’ post fest tasting in his room. Hazy pale.gold beer, big fluffy white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Good fine carbonation. Light malts, touch of something floral. Orange and orange pith, trace of lemon zest. Not bad.
