Cask at the Brewpub. Huge thanks to Ang for taking the time to dispense some of this on a working night. Almost clear amber beer, little white head. Lovely tangerine nose, little orange. Palate is light and semi dry with fine carbonation. Intense bitter sweet tangerine, the sweetness is little crystallised fruit like. Dry finish. Lovely tangerine fruits, could sink a bathtub of this.

Cask at the Brewpub. Huge thanks to Ang for taking the time to rum me through these ones on a working night. Opaque dark brown- black beer, tiny pale tan head. Palate is light and smooth. Minerally fine carbonation. Not sure if the admins will allow this one to hang around. Not a fest beer but a dry hop version of Erebus that will be on tap at Brew Wharf. Tangy dark malls, light. Very nice fresh orange hops dominating here. Starkly different from the other Erebus variations. Just a really nice hoppy light stout.

Cask at the Brewpub. Huge thanks to Ang for taking the time to rum me through these ones on a working night. Opaque dark brown- black beer, tiny pale tan head. Palate is light and smooth. Minerally fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts, touch of peppery vanilla and a trace of nutty sweet wood. More rounded off and a little sweeter than the solo vanilla treatment. Interesting again. Really enjoying these experiments.

Cask at the Brewpub. Huge thanks to Ang for taking the time to rum me through these ones on a working night. Opaque dark brown- black beer, tiny pale tan head. Palate is light and smooth. Minerally fine carbonation. The dark malt is more tangy in this version and has a clear fresh wood flavour with just a whisper of whisky. Smooth finish. Unusual to get the wood treatment on such a light stout and it works well here.

Cask at the Brewpub. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is light and smooth. Minerally fine carbonation. Mellow dark malt that has a roasted trailing edge. Brief note of unsweet chocolate. Mild bubblegum esters and a little citric hops in the lead up to the neutral finish. Tasty light stout.

Howling Hops Mini Saison Fest. Light haze on this gold beer, residual white head. Light dry palate - moderate carbonation. Light herbs and what tastes like ginger - but Ang says there is none in here. Bitterish lemon squash. Finishes semi dry with a bitter lemon linger. Interesting beer.

Gravity dispense at Brew Wharf, massive thanks to Ang for the pour, 27/03/13. Very dark mahogony brown/light black with a thin bubbly tan head. Nose carries roast malt, molasses, touch of coffee, fresh hops, light grapefruit notes. Taste comprises roast malt, light chocolate, dark fruits, hops, light pine, mineral tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. The dry hopping worked really well in this one - it’s pitched just right. A great low ABV breakfast stout - best of the bunch for me!
