14th July 2010. Brew Wharf. Very hazy gold beer, little white head. Clear apples on the nose - oh oh! Low carbonation, clean palate, a little dry. Green apples with some dry malt! I’m not a pro brewer but I’m pretty sure this much apple in the nose and taste means the beer isn’t ready for selling! Performed as well as England did on the pitch!

On cask at Brew Wharf, Borough Market, London. A very attractive deep orange coloured pour with a medium white head. Nice fresh, fruity, hoppy aroma. Tastes fruity, hoppy, malty, slightly sweet, caramel. Very well balanced. Lovely stuff from Brew Wharf.

Cask, half, in well kept condition, nicely presented in a special glass at the Brew Wharf. Patchy surface atop of a fine golden body with a slight haze. Aromatic hoppy, fruity shells to the nose. Very well hopped and balanced with sweet malts and spices. Lingering bitter ending and dryingly moreish. Well made (London, 16.07.2010).

Half pint, cask, served in a special glass at Brew Wharf. Cloudy golden, no head. Subdued dry hopped aroma. Taste of dry lemon and other citric fruits. Bittersweet ending. Alright and food friendly (London, 16.07.2010).

Cask handpull at Brew Wharf, Borough. Deep gold, no head. Some yeast, malt and mild spicey hop on aroma. In mouth a touch watery due to lack of condition. Finish is very good though with rye, malt and this slight spicy rounded hop sting. Good. Would be higher score if in better condition.

Cask handpull at Brew Wharf, Borough. Golden brown, bubbly white head. Good hops on this especially on finish. Bit thin in mouth due to lack of condition. Flavour of finishing hop is very attractive, biting and bitter. Some floral flavour. Rich melon flavour and some fruit salad. Really interesting, just needs better condition.

23rd April 2010. Clear bright deep red - brown beer. Small white head. Light palate, semi soft and semi dry. Dark tangy malt - porterish - some smoke in there but not too heavy. Gets pretty dry in the mid and almost gritty in the aftertaste. A whisper of plummy fruit then some quite bittering hop. It’s alright but if a beer is going to be smoky and bitter then I want something else to offset it.

23rd April 2010. On tap at Brew Wharf. Slightly hazy deep gold beer. Crispish light palate. Moderate carbonation. Fresh grapefruit backed by some orange that has a trace of sulfur. Overall quite refreshing. A not unpleasant bitter aftertaste. A little more carbonation would be good!

20th May 2010. On tap at Brew Wharf (natch!) Slightly hazy amber beer. Short lived suddy head. Clean palate, a little cripsness but not much carbonation. A little rye spiciness well blended with some orange marmalade and grapefruit hop. Finishes clean. Refreshing, enjoyed this on a warm day. Would be even better with more carbonation.
