Cask handpull at Brew Wharf, Borough. Haze gold no head. Some yeast on aroma. Lot of good green hop on the flavour and the citra really comes through. Again condition the beer is served in is not as good as it could be. Love the hop flavours without it being overly bitter. Lovely grapefruit and some tropical fruit.

On draught at Brew Wharf. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Good hoppy nose with raisins, chocolate, herbs and coffee getting in on the act too . Smoky, dry flavours with a hint of chocolate and coffee. Soft hop presence easing it’s way through. Dry, hoppy bite in the finish. Went down very nicely.

From a jug in BrewWharf. Gold, clear, thin off white bubbles. A little sweaty sox hops on aroma. Really quite dry on the finish. A little bit of nettle on the finsih. Quite astringent. Like licking a nettle stalk, but in a good way. Interesting and arresting. Definitely different. Well constructed though.

Cask at the Brew Wharf, Borough. Can I just say that I like Phil a lot? We have had a lot of history and I’m so pleased that after so many years he has had the chance to brew the beers that he wants in the epicentre of good beer in London. Good on ya Phil. Hazy gold beer with good hop aroma. Piney hops. PNW piney hops. Centennials on the dry hopping really come through. Quite creamy in the mouth. Pale malts just about stand up to the hop assault. Simcoes come through on the finish. Just really great to have these hop flavours in the UK. Good soft carbonation. Bit earthy even on the hops. Good stuff.
