Tap at Churchkey for the Craft Brewers Conference. Poured a slightly straw color with a pretty large white head. Aroma was some funky notes, lots of floral character in this one. Flavor had some sweet fruit notes - pear, apples. Yeast spice notes. Pretty refreshing.

A hazed reddish dark amber with a thick frothy mocha head, gusher. In aroma, a sour malt with cherries, brett, dark fruits, fruit sourness, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with fruity notes, cherries, sour yet still good.

Bottle @ Yespr. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty with weak tart spicy yeasty aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.

Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2, thank you sir! Hazy dark brown color, thick brown head, solid lacing. Aroma of coffee grounds. Taste starts with riasty coffee and cocoa, then a barnyard funkiness that doesn’t quite mesh. Near miss, I would say.

Bottle - thanks Sean! Pours hazy golden yellow, gigantic overflowing white head that eventually dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is funk, Brett, lemon, pineapple, herbs. Perhaps a bit of pepper, mostly cause I know its there. Flavor is the same, light sweet, light tart, light funk. Light body, champagne like carbonation. I liked this one, despite the fact the the cork came flying out the bottle and bounced off the ceiling as soon as I loosened the cage, and that my initial pour was 99% head. Most assuredly NOT Garbage Juice.

Trade with Daknole, 2009 vintage. Here’s my Mardi Gras beer for tonight. In a big Duvel tulip. A darker amber pour with a thin layer of bubbles. Sweet and malty smell with more alcohol to the nose that it should be showing. Taste is bubbly first, and carries that alcohol note right on through. Toasty malts among slight bourbon flavors. A bit of yeast funk, even a touch of cheese. But all in the service of a strong ale with slight mead and other notes. Alcohol again in just the right proportions.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Slightly hazy, amber-golden colour with a huge, white head. Sweet aroma with fruits, bretts, caramel malts, flower and citrus hops. Light sweet taste. Medium body, lively carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter with a yeasty note. I liked this one.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a huge white head. Aroma is brett and light cheesy. Grapefruity hops. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Ends dry, bitter and smooth grapefruity.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Very fresh and spicy aroma. Medium body, fruity, tart and citric with some phenols, carbonation is a little heavy. Dryish finish. Neat and drinkable. 250113
