A very slight hazed, very light bright golden with a big frothy white cap and some decent foamy lacing. Aromas of mild smoky grains with a touch of citrus. The taste shows the citrus notes again, taking over the smoked oats and wheat. Hints of smoked meats, wood lingers. Wet mouthfeel, thin enough with some light dryness. A decent, lighter smoked ale with a blend of citrus.

Dark brown colour with tiny particles through it, and some copper-ruby highlights. The head is beautiful, long lasting, warm-beige, frothy, somewhat thick-creamy, leaving creamy lacing. Wow! The alcohol is very well-hidden, with the mouthfeel being smooth, silky-wet with a decent building dryness that stays mild. The alcohol is more felt in the nose with the roasted malts, a touch of prunes, molasses, coffee, chocolate, toffee and liquorice. Flavours of wood, grassy hops, liquorice, and the roasted barley. Quite a nice smelling, easy-drinking Baltic Porter that really has lots going on, but all well-blended.

Clean, golden with an amber hue, a frothy warm-white head, average retention and some light lacing spots. Sweet, honey nose over spelt grains, straw malts and hints of spiciness. The taste is not as sweet, with the hops cutting this. Some nice herbal, grassy notes over the spelt-buckwheat notes. Get hazy as it pours. Some nice mineral touch in the finish. A good buckwheat honey Ale with spelt.

First of two Kellerbier tonight, pouring a clean amber colour with golden highlights, a warm light-beige cap, good retention and leaving some creamy-foamy lacing. Decent grassiness in the nose over the caramel, slight darker, cereal malt base. The taste shows the hops grassy notes, again, over the milder, darker malts. Gets a touch hazy near the end. Quite a nice brewed beer for the style with the hoppier Zwickelbier.

Hazy golden colour with amber highlights. The head is big, creamy-frothy, warm white, very long lasting and leaving full foamy-creamy lacing. Big orange juice nose with some spicy, soapy notes coming out eventually. The taste is fairly bitter, drying with citrus zest. This lingers nicely. Quite a nice hazy IPA with more bitterness, dryness.

Very slightly hazed, golden colour with a white cap, average stay and some small lacing spots all-around. Yeasty aromas with some grassy hops and mild, fruity-straw malts. Maybe a hints of wheat, giving light banana notes. The taste shows a little less of the yeast, and more of a blend between the mild cereal grains and touch of hops. The mouthfeel is average and dryness is light. A decent, easy-drinking Helles.

Clean (gets hazy at last pour), light golden colour with a white head, average retention and decent lacing left. Getting herbal notes over the cereal grains, so expecting a hoppier Kölsch. Yes, hoppier in the taste as well, giving a drying finish. Crisp mouthfeel and quite refreshing overall. Almost feels like their Pilsener I rated last night, which I was expecting this. Found the other to be grainier, waiting for the spiciness - never got it. Maybe a switch in the canning?? I enjoyed this one much more.

Can that pours a clean, bright, very light golden colour with a frothy-bubbly white head, average stay and foam-bubbles left on top. Grassy and corn aromas. More malty in the taste with straw malts, cereal notes, and the hops blend better giving a drying finish. Some mild spiciness does linger a bit. A very slight haze appears at last pour. Refreshing, but not as crisp and spicy as I wished.

O:3.93 V:3.70 G:4.41 C:3.71 G:9.91 T:25.66
