Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Label: ‘Sarazen Blonde 6.5%’. Pours a hazy golden/amber colour with a thinnish soapy looking white head. Aromas of overripe fruits, stoney fruits and melon. Taste has more overripe and stoney fruits with vinous notes and a touch of peppery spice. Nice sweet note lingering on a dry finish. Medium body, low carbonation and very smooth mouthfeel. Nice one.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert. Pours a hazy dark amber colour with a medium sized thick foamy off-white head. Aroma is fruity with some caramel, bread and biscuits. Taste is spicy and sweet with some warming alcohol. Stoney fruits also present and also a little smoky and sour note. Slight tang on the finish. Thin to medium body with average carbonation. Decent enough balance. Quite an interesting beer. Not a typical Tripel to what I’m used to. Not bad.
