Cask at the Happy Man, Englefield Green - 17/08/12. Clear golden blonde. Sweet nose with hops and pale malts. Taste follows nose, nothing too exciting here. Light to medium in body, wettish beer with a slightly peppery finish.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 12/05/12. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Toffee, malts and biscuit on the nose. Taste as nose with some dark fruits and a little spice. Fullish body in mild terms, not a watery one. Decent fayre.

Served via cask dispense into a UK pint glass at the Fox, Twickenham, (Feb ’12) Pours a clear golden colour with a small white frothy head. The aroma is of mild hops with a touch of citrus and pine in the background. On the palate, a bitter tasting beer with citrus fruit coming across, a little orange, lemon and perhaps grapefruit and also a grassy flavour - all fairly muted and not in your face. Mouthfeel was a little watery for my liking but finished with a good bitter dry taste. An OK beer, would re-visit no qualms, but there are better beers out there!

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, earthy and mildly caramelly. Flavour is fruity, floral, mild herbal and yeasty notes along with some citrus.

(Gravity cask at The Rake, Southwark, London, 21 April 2012) Golden amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity, malty nose with peaches, biscuits and tropical fruit. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, apricots, biscuity malt and a slightly grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Well balanced and quite nice.

Cask at the Magpie & Crown, Brentford, England on 2nd April 2012. Crystal clear gold with off-white full-lacing foam. Lemon zest and fruit in aroma. Fruity in-mouth, with floral hoppiness and increasingly bitter with each sip. Initially rounded finish also acquires this bitterness, and the mouthfeel is on the dry side. You want another after finishing.

Frisch malzig-säuerlicher Beginn, minimale BITterkeit. Etwas schokoladig, rund, die Säure steht dann noch etwas mehr im Vordergrund. Zum Ende erobert das Malz wieder den Vordergrund. /9/10/10//10
