500ml bottle thanks to Toby. Another big boozy stout on a cool September evening. Black and inky, slick and slippery, molasses, and vanilla. Taste wraps it all up with beautiful roast grains, alcohol heat and a sweet lingering finish.

Poured from a 2015 vintage bottle. Aroma is very rich. Moderate bourbon notes with some light rye and molasses. Moderately strong chocolate notes with some light roast. Some coconut and vanilla notes from the barrel with a hint of oak. Some light alcohol spice. Pours black with a medium sized, moderately thick, light mocha head that exhibits decent retention. no lacing and moderately long to long legs. Flavor is very similar to the aroma - lots of chocolate with some lighter roast. Moderate bourbon notes with light roast, but a bit more than in the aroma. Some light oak notes with hints of vanilla and coconut. A bit hot with some alcohol spice. Some light molasses notes. Mouthfeel is full bodied and somewhat silky and creamy with a medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. The mouthfeel on this beer is really nice. Overall, a very nice stout with really nice barrel notes. A great mouthfeel, but the beer is still a bit hot and was probably more so when fresh. A very rich, chocolate forward stout with good bourbon, roast and molasses notes that add some complexity.

500 ml bottle at home. Black color with nice beige brown head. Roasted malty aroma, cocoa, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, some spicy notes, dark red fruits, light wood and alcohol. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Almost full silky oily body with soft carbonation.

50cl bottle pours a murky, oily black with a faint ring of oily, beige head. Nose has coffee and chocolate and booze, caramel pecans too. Flavor is much better, coffee, nuts, chocolate, caramel. Finishes crazy smooth.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Almost opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Smooth palate still has decent fine carbonation. Rich dark malts. Lots of coconut, dark chocolate and what tastes more like fruity bourbon than tequila. Some spice coming through with more coconut, this time accompanied by dark fruits. Light spicy finish. Very nice number.

Bottle thanks to Jeremy. Pours a pure black color with small white head. A big sweet fruity vanilla nose. The flavor is chocolate, mint, vanilla, chocolate. Very good. Super sweet.

Shared 22 oz. bottle. Hazy golden color with an off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and caramel malt. Taste: malt, caramel, pine, and tropical fruit. Fairly intense but a little too malty. Okay.

Bottle shared on Level 42 27/07/2016. Many thanks to Leighton for this one. A viscous dark brown coloured black coloured pour with a small tan head. Aroma is big descated. Coconut, bounty bar, chocolate, praline. Flavour is composed of sweet coconut, bounty, vanilla, chilli warming chilli, sun tan lotion. Palate is medium full bodied, medium sweet, moderate carbonation, velvety. Really good nice spicy. Milky.
