Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruity hops, some grass and slight grass. Flavour is the same along with sweet nectar in a nice balance. Pleasant, but still quite boring.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Gold with lasting beige head. Yes, it’s got a lot of very tasty hop, but it is also full of diacetyl. I keep having these beers because Gazza raves about the brewery, but this has too much diacetyl. Otherwise good.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough. Very pale gold with slight haze, lasting white head. I keep trying Pictish beers as Gazza says they’re great. Faint hop aroma, ok in mouth. Finish is sherberty hoppy with a little of the yeast from teh aroma coming through. It’s not wonderful.

Cask at Merton Summer Beer Festival 06-07-07. This poured amazingly clear and a very pale golden colour I was rather suprised, I was expecting at the very least some haziness to it. Once people clocked onto this beer it actually went down very well indeed and I could see why. It had a nice if maybe too subtle aroma with a hint of orange and wheat, the taste was very clean and really refreshing, some spiciness and wheat but quite delicate, still a very nice beer.

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2007. Very dark ruby with thin beige head. Some choc/coffee in mouth. Good tasting in mouth. Finish has some choc/charcoal and a bit of spicyness. Decent mild, though aroma is poor. Middle and end are good. I keep having Pictish beers as Gazza swears by them. Also good to see the last person who rated this was Kook last year at the same festival.

Cask gravity at Battersea BF 2007. Gold colour with bubbly thin white head. Odd hoppy aroma. Quite good in mouth, fullish, some juiciness and tehn nice hop finish. Citrusy. Sweetish nose. Sweetish malt and citrus in mouth. Bit of toffee. Nice enough.
